The ‘about me’ bit. The bit that everyone goes to first.
So, what do you want to know about me? What do I want to know when I look at these things?
Who am I?
I’m Rich (by name only, ha bloody ha), I’m 20-something, I believe travelling is the best thing you can do, and the longest I’ve stayed in one job is one year. I’ve never been fired, I just don’t think I should spend 40 hours a week doing something I don’t like – it’s as simple as that. So why settle?
Since uncovering my love for travel – I went to Mexico for three months after I graduated from University – jobs for me have always ended up being a means to an end (travelling) even if I didn’t intend for that to be the case.
Why am I blogging?
Two reasons – I can and I want to. I want a space to be creative, I want to talk to people and be sociable and see who’s out there, what I can learn from them and I want them to entertain me (so, whenever you’re ready is fine) and I would like to do the same in return.
So what can you expect from my posts? Well, this has changed a few times since I started doing it but I’ve finally found my style and I know where I want to take this now.
I intend to write accounts of experiences I’ve had, largely while travelling, but some other things might creep in there too that are (sometimes perhaps a little tenuously) linked to travel. Basically, I admit I am a little socially awkward and this seems to lend itself well to faux pas and awkwardness so you can expect to find stories about that here.
I’m happy to share these times with you (why suffer in silence?) because I don’t think I’m alone in my mishaps.
I want this site to be…
- Enjoyable to read
Thank you for stopping by, I actually really do appreciate it.
As a token on my appreciation, here’s a picture of a monkey carrying a dog.
